This beautiful structure for residential use dated back to the 1970s, is located about 25 km from Turin. It has been renovated and energy upgraded, maintaining the original shell, The building is completely surrounded by its own land, and it is accessible from the road through an access on the southwest side. Project of renovation has been supported by Ricehouse and Novello Case.

For the insulation, RH-P, rice straw bales have been applied to preservie wall and roof structure, and also an additional laminated wood portal structure had to be placed. The building minimizes leakage and takes advantage of passive solar contribution, thanks to the complete insulation.
