Art in ice

The work, created in the center of Livigno, is a three-dimensional version of the symbol of the Third Paradise, created by the international artist Michelangelo Pistoletto. It consists of two opposing igloos, whose meaning are nature and artifice, and one larger central, assumed to mean generative womb of the Third Paradise. It represents the responsible passing of the present which shows unbalanced relationship between humans and Earth. 2000 cubic meters of white snow shot and pressed on three inflatable igloos subsequently removed to give rise to this installation which has been used in the next two months for conferences, meetings and workshops.
